Food Pantry
The Coastline Cares Pantry is a resource for all Coastline students to receive (at no charge) grocery items (canned and fresh) to meet their nutritional needs and provide information about the CalFresh Program.

While all services are currently remote due to the omicron surge of COVID-19, the food pantry drive-up grocery pick-ups continue on Mondays and Fridays. See below for details.
Our staff will be maintaining safety precautions and social distancing. We ask that when you pick up groceries, you remain in your vehicle while we check you in and deposit groceries into the vehicle.

If those times don’t work, students can email basicneeds@coastline.edu to schedule an individual grocery pick up.
- Complete this Coastline Cares RSVP Form (only once per semester).
- Arrive on Mondays at Garden Grove or Fridays at Newport Beach between 11am and 1pm.
- We will deliver food to your trunk, following 6 feet social distancing guidelines.
Weekly groceries include non-perishable and perishable food items. Typically, you can expect to receive:
- Canned vegetables, fruits, and protein
- Dry bags of rice and pasta
- Breakfast cereal/cereal bars
- Shelf-stable or fresh milk/milk alternatives
- Produce (changes with the availability and season)
Occasionally, we also have frozen meat, deli meat, vegan cheese/meat substitutes, juice, frozen meals, meal kits, and smoothie packs.

- Friday, February 18 (Lincoln's Day)
- Monday, February 21 (Washington's Day)
- Friday, April 1 (Spring Holiday)
- Monday, May 30 (Memorial Day)
- Monday, July 4 (Independence Day)
- Monday, September 5 (Labor Day)
- Friday, November 11 (Veterans Day)
- Friday, November 25 (Thanksgiving Holiday)
- December 19 - January 2 (Winter Break, reopens 01/06/23)

CalFresh Pre-Screening
CalFresh is a food & nutrition program that provides money for those who qualify to buy their groceries monthly.
Many students are eligible and could be getting money for food. We can help by pre-screening your eligibility & showing you the whole process.
