It's Easy To Get Started

Becoming a Student

You can begin studying on one of our four SoCal campuses (or remotely) as soon as the start of our next semester. We'll show you how to apply, register, and adapt to student life. Live the life you want at Coastline. It's just as simple as that.

What Kind Of Student Are You?

New Students - You're considered a new student if you've never taken classes at Coastline College. New students, regardless of their educational background and goal, must apply for admission. You may apply through Open CCC Apply.

It is important to submit your application at least 10 working days prior to the start date of the class to allow for processing and return of your MyCCC login information and registration appointment.

Once you submit your online application, you will receive an email immediately (sent to the email address you supplied on your application) confirming successful submission of your application. Please make sure to read the email in its entirety regarding your application. Additional information will be sent via email once your application is processed.

Returning Students - Returning students are those who have previously attended Coastline College but have missed two or more semesters. Returning students must apply for admissions to be assigned a registration appointment and to activate their MyCCC account.

International Students - Those requiring an F-1 visa, please visit the International Students web page for application information or call (714) 241-6141 to speak to Javier Alcala, International Student Staff Aide.

Continuing Students - Those who were registered in classes for the previous Fall 2018 term and/or Spring 2019 term do not need to reapply for the Fall 2019 term. Continuing students will be able to view their Fall 2019 registration appointment via their MyCCC site mid-April.

Military Students - Visit the Extended Learning Division Military & Corporate Programs Admissions web page to proceed with online application and registration.

High School Students - Concurrently enrolled 9th through 12th grade High School Students may use the online application, but must submit an approved High School Release Form before registering for classes. For additional information and to access these forms, please visit our High School Students web page or you may pick up the form from the Coastline Admissions Office at Fountain Valley, CA.
